KU’s Tampa Campus Hosts Florida Nurses Association Members

Members of Keiser University’s Tampa campus National Student Nurses Association recently hosted attendees of the Florida Nurses Association’s summer meeting.

As part of the event led by Tim Voytilla, Keiser University’s Tampa campus Director of Nursing, the group learned more about legal issues in nursing, thanks to representative Kathy Hill. They also delved into the responsibilities and liabilities of the profession, the differences between criminal and civil law as it relates to the field and practice, the advantages of individual malpractice insurance, how nursing and physicians insurance is facilitated at healthcare organizations, and more.
