Tampa Paralegal and Crime Scene Students Learn from Real Life Court Case
Professor Fernandez’s Civil Litigation class and Professor Johnson’s Legal Aspects of Crime Scene Careers visited the 13th Judicial Court in Tampa, Florida. They heard a case regarding a motor vehicle accident.
What made this trial interesting was it involved a passenger in a vehicle suing the driver of the car the person was riding in. The students learned about the civil litigation proceedings and how the attorneys for both parties performed during the trial. The students observed the examination of witnesses and exhibits as the attorneys tried to submit evidence to the jury.
