Flagship Campus Nutrition & Weight Management Class Welcomes Guest Speaker
Nutrition and Weight Management class members at Keiser University’s Flagship campus were recently delighted to hear a presentation from Gene Ulishney of Ulishney Brothers Sports, Inc. regarding proper energy supplementation on game day.
With over forty students present, the lesson provided valuable information relating to sports supplements and ergogenic aids, athletic footwear, and proper socks. The Sports Medicine and Fitness Technology group also learned about the importance of proper leg alignment during activities to avoid pain and injuries. By the end of the class, learners walked away with not only better knowledge of how to prepare their bodies for performance, but also the importance of taking care of their feet.
