Career and Community Resource Fair Provides Students Valuable Contacts
Hundreds of Keiser University Port St. Lucie campus students recently enjoyed learning more about employment, volunteer, internship, service, and philanthropic organizations at their Career and Community Resource Fair.
Led by the campus’ Student Services Department, the event welcomed 25 employers and nonprofit organizations while providing unique introduction and interview opportunities. “Events such as this are important to learners because they provide insights relating to employer expectations. In addition our students are able to further their knowledge about jobs in their field of study while making valuable contacts for when they are ready to work in their fields,” said Leslie Haviland, Director of Student Services.
