Keiser University Equine Students Participate in Winter Equestrian Festival

Keiser University Advanced Equine Training class students were recently treated to a unique field trip featuring a “Lunch and Learn” session at the Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Wellington, Florida.

Featuring Juliana Chapman, founder of The Tech Equestrian, the goal of the Equine Studies program session was to acquaint students with the latest technology trends in the industry. Led by Julie Snyder, Director of Equestrian Programs, students learned helpful tips to explore the field. They included the importance of maintaining an open mind, taking advantage of user-friendly technology while learning all of its features, placing an emphasis on customer support, continually prioritizing good horsemanship over technology, and more.

The session concluded with additional words of wisdom by Stephen Hawkins. “Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change.”
