Daytona Beach Campus Students Administer Over 200 Flu Vaccinations

Students from Keiser University’s Daytona Beach campus Medical Assisting and Medical Administrative, Billing and Coding programs  recently administered over 200 flu vaccinations to area adult and pediatric patients under the supervision of program director Brittany Muh. After having completed intense tutoring sessions and a final review course, the Ormond Beach CentraCare Flu Shot volunteer effort provided the opportunity for coeds to gain hands-on clinical skills in administering injections.

Keiser University and CentraCare have been active externship and community partners for approximately three-years and CentraCare has hired many KU graduates.
