Dreams Come True for Local Children Thanks to KU’s Jacksonville Campus

Keiser University Jacksonville campus Physical Therapy Assistant students recently hosted a breakfast bake sale to benefit local children.

Led by faculty members Natalya Lezhak, Corina Santos and Dawn Sparkman, PTA cohort 22 and 23 students raised over $300 along with faculty and staff members for the Dreams Come True organization.

The First Coast’s only locally-based wish-granting organization dedicated to using the power of a dream to bring hope and joy to kids who are battling life-threatening illnesses, Dreams Come True has fulfilled the dreams of more than 3,800 children since 1984. With 444 youngsters currently ‘dreaming,’ the nonprofit organization has never denied a dream, nor put a child on a waiting list.
