Fort Myers OTA Students Prepare for Fieldwork at Children’s Network of SWFL
The Fort Myers Occupational Therapy Assistant program was lucky enough to have Nadereh Salim, the CEO of Children’s Network of Southwest Florida, join them recently to provide information about the organization and the wonderful things that they offer to the local community.
Children’s Network of SWFL is the private, nonprofit lead agency that administers the child welfare system in Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades Counties. The organization will be working with the Fort Myers OTA students during Level I Fieldwork. The students got an idea of what to expect while in the field, as well as what will be expected of them. The students enjoyed the presentation and information provided so much that following this seminar, almost all of the students requested to be a part of this amazing organization!
