Keiser University Chiropractic Researchers Share Findings at International Consortium

Dr. Ralph Kruse, Clinician and Chiropractic Researcher at Keiser University’s College of Chiropractic Medicine recently did double duty at the inaugural International Consortium on Manual Therapies Virtual Conference moderated and hosted by the A.T. Still College of Osteopathic Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona.

Kruse presented two posters on chiropractic research findings from studies he’d conducted along with colleagues Dr. Ram Gudavalli, Dr. Bret White, and Dr. Maria-Berenice Duran. The presentations highlighted the ultrasound measurements of lumbar spine segments and post-surgical continued pain patient responses under Cox® Technic Flexion Distraction and Decompression.

After commencing in May 2022, the month-long online event provided attendees the opportunity to explore a virtual conference hall as avatars and to communicate ‘face-to-face’ via webcam with fellow participants. Those participating in the poster competition enjoyed meaningful virtual interactions as they communicated with researchers and judges.

Research Department members of Keiser University’s College of Chiropractic Medicine continue to foster student success and chiropractic exploration as they test, analyze, and report data, compose papers and develop research conference presentations.
