Keiser University Online Division’s Institutional Effectiveness is Recognized as Part of the Anthology Catalyst Awards

Keiser University is pleased to announce that for the eighth year in a row, leaders of its Online Division are among those included as Anthology 2024 Catalyst Award winners.

Keiser University Online Division Vice Chancellor Sherry Olsen, Director of Instructional Design Marcel Laronde, Associate Director of Instructional Design Neha Prakash, and team members were recognized as Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness category winners for their efforts in growing their assessment practices and influencing positive behavioral changes using Anthology solutions.

“We are incredibly honored to receive the Catalyst Award for Assessment and Institutional Effectiveness,” said Olsen. “This recognition underscores our unwavering commitment to our core value of putting students first.  At Keiser University, the assessment of student learning is paramount, as it drives our continuous efforts to enhance educational quality and ensure student success. We are dedicated to setting the standard for excellence and innovation,” she said.

As a leading provider of education solutions that support the entire learner lifecycle, Anthology’s Catalyst Awards program highlights the innovative use of technology in support of student success for the global educational community. This year, 35 winners were selected from among 108 nominees from institutions across 19 countries. Honorees will be recognized at the upcoming Anthology Together conference, one of the world’s largest EdTech conferences, taking place July 15-17 in Orlando, Florida.

Keiser University was a trendsetter in virtual learning when it began offering online education in 1998 through an agreement with e-college which offered one of the first virtual learning environments available to colleges and universities. Since 2013, every registered course at Keiser University has included an online learning shell that provides users with a platform for communication and content sharing. Though not utilized by every on-ground course, the shell allows faculty to quickly transition the course to virtual learning.

Founded in 2005, the annual Catalyst Awards recognize and honor innovation and excellence in the Anthology global community of practice, where millions of educators and learners work every day to redefine what is possible when leveraging technology.
