KU Leaders Attend Victim Services Annual Training Event

Leaders from various Keiser University campuses recently attended the Palm Beach County Victim Services Annual Training Event. The important program focused on identifying and accounting for gender bias within organizations. Hosted by the Boca Raton Police Department Training Facility, guest speakers from the Battered Women’s Justice Project lead several interactive workshops and brainstorming sessions.

The mission of the Palm Beach County Public Safety and Victim Services unit is to compassionately and respectfully assist victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, homicide and other violent crimes through crisis response, advocacy, therapy and community awareness.
