KU Orlando Campus OTA Students Host Cultural Fair

Keiser University Orlando campus Occupational Therapy Assistant program students recently hosted a Cultural Fair with the purpose of fostering cultural sensitivity and highlighting diversity.

Thanks to the Human Occupation and Development course students, guests of the affair enjoyed gaining insight relating to the native traditions, beliefs, foods, clothing and other products of Jamaica, Morocco, Ecuador, Finland, Slovakia and Botswana.

Led by professor Kiera Anderson, the lesson provided coeds the opportunity to gain an understanding of the impact of culture on human development and to develop professional marketing and management skills as they collaborated to present the colorful event.
