KU Orlando Campus Students Enjoy Histotechnology Professionals Day

KU Orlando campus students, faculty and staff recently enjoyed celebrating Histotechnology Professionals Day.

Led by Histotechnology Program Chair Komal Gada, the Open House program was designed to highlight the work of the field’s professionals who detect the structure of cells, their formation into tissues and organs, tissue abnormalties and the resulting treatments for diseases they may cause.

Keiser University’s Associate of Science degree in Histotechnology prepares students to work as Histotechnicians in a variety of anatomic pathology laboratory settings and is designed to develop technical and intellectual skills as well as developing individuals with a commitment to quality patient care, a passion for the profession, and continued growth within the field.
