KU’s Fort Lauderdale Campus Welcomes New Honor Society Members

Keiser University Fort Lauderdale students Lorena Espinoso, Kayle Garcia, Cynthia Graham, Shanetta King and Clarissa Rios were recently inducted into the National Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.

The group, selected because they earned a cumulative 3.5 or GPA or higher and have chosen Scholarship, Leadership, Service and Fellowship as their hallmarks, was surrounded by family and friends for the honor.

The Phi Theta Kappa chapter is led by Student Services Coordinator Tashania Morris. Established in 1918, Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society serves to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students and provide opportunities for individual growth and development through scholarship, leadership, social and service programming.
