KU’s Lakeland Campus Holds Business Symposium

Keiser University’s Lakeland campus recently held a  Business Symposium under the leadership of Dr. Tracy Whitfield, Business Program Director and John Hines, Information Technology University Department Chair. 

Launched to assist students with a successful transition from the classroom to the corporate boardroom, discussions included topics such as resume writing, organizational behavior research findings, and interview techniques. Panelists included Keiser University alumni and Omega Insurance Representatives Yajaira Avina and Jennifer Hoyle, Publix Staffing Specialist LaTarsha Melvin, Florida Tropics General Manager Andew Ross and CareerSource Polk County Business Consultant George Wilson.
