Local Artist is Welcomed at KU’s Fort Lauderdale Campus

Keiser University’s Fort Lauderdale campus recently welcomed local artist Trish Stypka with Trish’s Delish Art as part of its partnership with the Broward Art Guild.

The monthly event in partnership with the Broward Art Guild’s “Art Around Town” program, featured an artist’s reception while highlighting Stypka’s beautiful and eclectic works. “I create art out of metal, clay and fabric that is designed to evoke playfulness in the viewer,” said Stypka who’d added that she enjoys invoking a joyful desire to touch her pieces which can create a ‘simple smile,’ or a desire to bring her works into an amazing home.

The oldest and largest organization of working artists in the county, the Broward Art Guild was formed in the late 1940’s, originally as a branch of the American Artists Professional League, the Guild later evolved into an independent, not-for-profit organization.
