New Milestones Despite Challenging Times

Despite these challenging times, there have been several exciting milestones at Keiser University, and I wanted to share them with you. For starters, we held a ribbon cutting for the beautiful Lakeside Residence Hall at Keiser University’s Flagship campus in early November. This 51,000 square foot, student living facility demonstrates the University’s continued commitment to students and is made possible by a $10 million donation from Sodexo North America.

We also opened the Keiser University Naples campus, which offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, Nursing and more. Providing a state-of-the-art, learning environment, this brand new, 40,000 square foot facility features a clinical simulation lab for nurses and nurse anesthetists. Students gain direct practice with simulated clinical events, preparing them to become valuable professionals in the healthcare industry.

I am also excited to announce that the slab has been poured for Keiser University’s new location for its New Port Richey campus. The school will relocate to a 41,000 square foot university campus and provide a significant boost as an education hub with an influx of 1,000 students and 100 employees. This campus will share a garage with the City, as well, making it easier for students and faculty to have direct access to the campus.

I would also like to welcome Ryan Sagers, Ph.D., as the new president of the Keiser University Fort Lauderdale Campus and the Keiser University Graduate School. Dr. Sagers joins Keiser University with more than 20 years of higher education leadership experience. Most recently, he was the president of Adtalem Global Education/DeVry University, where he served as head of the company’s mid-Atlantic and west regions. Additionally, Sagers was the co-founder and president of the Utah Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities.

Finally, I would like to wish a fond farewell to Rhonda Fuller, who was the president of Keiser University’s Fort Lauderdale campus for 19 years, and Kelli Lane, who was the Associate Vice Chancellor of Media and Public Relations for 18 years. We express our deepest appreciation for your outstanding service and thank you for your dedication to the growth of this university.

Warmest Regards,

Arthur Keiser, Ph.D., Keiser University Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer
