Clearwater Campus’ Rib Cook-Off Honors Veterans

Keiser University’s Clearwater Campus Student Veteran and Student Government Association’s recently enjoyed hosting a Rib Cook-Off.

Competitors Karen Bisco, Director of Student Services, and students Cody Uselton, Greg Vorbeck and Amber DeWeese all vied for the first place prize in the event, designed to support Wreaths Across America, a nonprofit organization that coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies throughout the month of December while also helping to ensure that veterans are remembered throughout the year.

The group was thankful to raise almost $300 toward the effort, and congratulates winner Cody Uselton who took home first place prize!
