Sports Medicine & Fitness Technology Students Enjoy Weightlifting Tutorial from Industry Experts
Keiser University Orlando campus Sports Medicine and Fitness Technology students recently examined weightlifting techniques thanks to presentations from former Russian National Team Olympic lifter Maria Barnes, experienced certified athletic trainer Jeannette Feliciano, and international powerlifter Egor Rubanov.
While visiting the Iron Religion Gym under the leadership of Professor Stefane Dias, the group was able to gain insight relating to competitive powerlifting, and experience first-hand the techniques and muscles required to successfully accomplish Olympic lifts known as Clean ‘n Jerk, Muscle Snatch, Push Press, and more.
