Fort Lauderdale’s Nursing Program Welcomes Trustbridge Class Speakers

Christine Mueller, Keiser University’s Fort Lauderdale campus Associate of Science in Nursing Director and students recently welcomed class speakers Dr. Karen Kennedy and Brenda Centeno Filameno from Trustbridge, a community nonprofit that provides support for families facing serious illness.

The group was thankful to learn about end of life services, and left with a better understanding of what patients and families experience, as well as the Trustbridge care process, and pain management treatment options.

Since 1978, Hospice of Palm Beach County, Hospice of Broward County and Hospice by the Sea have cared for 200,000 families in South Florida.  The three hospices now serve as one branch of Trustbridge.
