Keiser University College of Golf Instructor Frank Longabucco Supports Local Drive, Chip, and Putt Competition

Keiser University College of Golf Instructor Frank Longabucco, a PGA Member Certified in Instruction and Golf Operations, recently supported the West Palm Beach Drive, Chip and Putt Local Qualifier held at the PGA National Resort and Club.

“I enjoyed volunteering as part of the Driving challenge of the competition, and saw some great swings. The kids were really respectful and polite, and from the looks on all of their faces, they had a lot of fun,” said Longabucco of the event, in which 100 boys and girls competed.

A joint initiative founded in 2013 by the Masters Tournament, the United States Golf Association and The PGA of America, Drive, Chip and Putt is a free nationwide junior golf development competition aimed at growing the game by focusing on the three fundamental skills employed in golf. By tapping the creative and competitive spirit of girls and boys ages 7-15, the event provides junior golfers an opportunity to play with their peers in qualifiers around the country. Participants who advance through local, sub-regional and regional qualifying in each age/gender category earn a place in the National Finals which are held at the Augusta National Golf Club and broadcast live by the Golf Channel.
