Keiser University Featured in Florida Trend Magazine for Outstanding U.S. News Ranking in Social Mobility

Florida Trend Magazine has highlighted Keiser University for being named No. 5 in the country in Social Mobility by U.S. News and World Report’s Best Colleges rankings.

“We are very pleased to earn such high marks in social mobility for a third year in a row,” said Arthur Keiser, Ph.D., Chancellor of Keiser University. “Keiser University is dedicated to providing access and opportunity to a diverse population of students and we’re pleased to include this goal in our commitment to student success.”

The Top Performers in Social Mobility subcategory ranks colleges and universities on their ability to graduate economically disadvantaged students. This is the third year U.S. News has included a ranking for social mobility which is computed by aggregating two ranking factors that measure graduation rates of Pell-awarded students.

Keiser University has continued its climb as one of the best schools in the country for economically disadvantaged students, earning a top spot on the Social Mobility ranking in each of the three years since U.S. News first published the list. In 2020, Keiser University took the No. 34 overall spot and in 2021 Keiser ranked No. 11 in the category.

Business and political decision-makers look to Florida Trend to learn what’s happening throughout the state, but even more to understand it.
