Keiser University Featured on WXTL Tallahassee News

Keiser University Tallahassee was recently featured on WXTL Tallahassee for the university’s accelerated nursing program and status as the No. 1 producer of nurses in the state of Florida. According to the station’s research, 90% of Keiser University Tallahassee accelerated nursing program graduates stay in the state to pursue their healthcare careers.

“They take upwards of 4-6 classes every semester,” says Shyam Mistry, Dean of Academic Affairs at Keiser University Tallahassee. “We’ve hired highly credentialed faculty from all across the southeast to deliver the curriculum that we’ve developed. Our proof— we just had our first graduating class and all of those individuals have successfully completed their NCLEX exam on the very first attempt.”

Keiser University’s College of Nursing Accelerated Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, which launched in January 2021, is a pre-licensure degree program for those wishing to complete a program of study in professional nursing. At the conclusion of the program, graduates will receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) and will be eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensing exam to become licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse.
