Keiser University Miami Hosts U.S. Army Medical Marketing Semi
Keiser University Miami recently hosted the U.S. Army’s Medical Marketing Semi truck. The truck and its crew were in town for the Miami Air and Sea Show and made a special appearance at KU Miami.
Students toured the inside of the vehicle and saw many high-tech devices used by the Army in treating wounded soldiers on and off the battlefield. Some of the gadgetry included virtual reality simulators used to take apart and put back together skeletal images and a simulation dummy. In addition, students explored state of the art prosthetic limbs currently being used by Army Medical Technicians and doctors.
The Army’s Medical Marketing Truck tours the United States to recruit qualified medical technicians for service. The truck is for demonstration purposes but contains state-of-the-art field equipment.
