Keiser University Named One of Nation’s Top Universities for Affordable Doctoral Programs

Keiser University was recently named among the best colleges and universities in the U.S. for affordable online doctoral degree programs according to OnlineU, a website that champions college affordability. Keiser earned the No. 17 spot on the list of the top 25 most affordable online doctorate programs at public and private schools in the country.

“Pursuing a doctoral degree is one of the most effective ways for employees to improve their professional opportunities,” said Robert Keiser, Ph.D., MBA, Vice Chancellor of Keiser University’s Graduate School. “Higher earning potential and opportunities for advancement are just a few benefits to earning a doctoral degree.”

To produce their list, OnlineU ranked the top 25 colleges and universities that met eligibility requirements which included having regional or national accreditation and as least 10 fully online doctoral degree programs. Data for tuition and degree information was collected from official school websites, reflecting data for the 2020-2021 school year.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics designates 101 occupations that typically necessitate a graduate degree for entry. Of those, 63 typically require a doctoral or professional degree. With a focus on career readiness and advancement, Keiser University’s Graduate School offers 13 doctoral level degrees in some of Florida’s key industries. These programs include terminal degrees in business, chiropractic medicine, curriculum and instruction, criminal justice and criminology, educational leadership, nursing, and nurse anesthesia practice, among others.

“We are honored to be named as one of the top colleges and universities for affordable online doctoral programs,” said Keiser. “At Keiser University, we continue to place emphasis on positive student outcomes. This ranking is evidence of our school’s commitment to providing students with affordable and accessible educational options that help them to attain career success.”
