Keiser University New Port Richey Takes Part in City Health Fair

Medical Assisting students and faculty from Keiser University New Port Richey recently took part Tasty Tuesdays Local organic Market in New Port Richey, FL.

Sponsored by the City of New Port Richey, Tasty Tuesdays Local Organic Market offers local growers an opportunity to sell organic food products in an open-air courtyard. In addition to food sales, the event allows participants to hear lectures, view demos, and learn about growing and preparing organic foods.

The MA students, chaperoned by Professor Amy Knight, started their own Health Fair booth where they read blood pressures and other vital signs for visitors of the organic market.
