Keiser University Women’s Swim and Dive Team Takes Home Consecutive NAIA Wins

The Keiser University Seahawk Women’s Swim and Dive Team once again took home the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Red Banner after leading with 655.50 points at the recent 2024 NAIA National Championship held at the Columbus Aquatic Center in Columbus, Georgia. This marks the third-straight national title for the Seahawks.

“We are so incredibly proud of the women’s swimming and diving team winning their 3rd consecutive National Championship,” said Keiser Head Swim Coach Adam Epstein. “Their hard work, determination, and unity were on full display throughout the season, so it was amazing to see that confidence come to a head at our National Championships,” he added.

Keiser closed out the final day with eight, top-three finishes, including a pair of national titles. Aubrey Bach led the squad to a sweep of the top three podium spots in the 100 free with a time of 51.13 and led-off the Seahawks 400 free relay that posted a winning time of 3:26.65. Epstein was named the 2024 NAIA Women’s Swimming & Diving Coach of the Year. Lindsey Wilson’s Maaike Broersma garnered a pair of national honors at the championship. Broersma opened the finals by pulling away from the field to win the 200 back with a time of 1:58.06. It was her third individual national title of the championship meet and her performance earned her NAIA Swimmer of the Year honors. Broersma also had the Swim of the Meet for her 100 back, where she clocked a 54.12.

Epstein and his coaching staff also send accolades to the Keiser Men’s Swimming and Diving team for their second-place honor with a score of 624.5. The five-time national champs claimed four individual national champions, two relay national champions, and a total of 45 All-Americans.
