KU-Daytona highlights diversity at Cultural Fair

The Occupational Therapy Assistant students at the Daytona Beach campus hosted a Cultural Fair. The students created and presented their knowledge and appreciation of lifestyle, social, health, and welfare choices that exist in Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Russia and Somalia.

The cultural fair is designed to develop awareness of cultural diversity and respect for cultural differences with a view to bring about cultural sensitivity and insight into multicultural patient treatment. Participants had the opportunity learn about unique and culturally specific activities, food, and fashion.
