KU Tampa Students Show Support for Occupational Therapy on “Hill Day”
KU Tampa Occupational Therapy Assistant students rocked their “I’m for OT” t-shirts recently in support of the virtual Hill Day. The National Council’s Hill Day is the largest behavioral health advocacy event of the year. OTA students gathered to listen to Professor Mary Ralston discuss legislation that FOTA and AOTA is sponsoring at both the state and federal level. Our Seahawks launched a letter writing campaign to request that our representatives support OT related issues. Sister campuses, Tallahassee and Jacksonville, actually marched on the hill in person. KU Tampa is proud to have such passionate Seahawks!
