KU’s Orlando Campus Celebrates First Medical Billing and Coding Class Grads

Keiser University’s Orlando campus recently celebrating its first Medical Billing and Coding class graduates.

“We are very pleased to begin transitioning this group into the professional world,” said Instructor and Program Director Bibi Sullivan. “Our first graduates really embraced their curriculum which included classes such as Anatomy and Physiology with Medical Terminology, Medical Ethics, Pharmacology, Insurance, Medical Coding, and more.”

Upon obtaining their Certified Professional Coder certification after the 18-month associate degree program, students often pursue careers where they will work in a variety of locations including but not limited to physician skilled nursing facilities, laboratories, outpatient clinics, surgical centers, and durable medical equipment facilities.
