Medical Assisting Career Day Offers Hands-On Learning Opportunities for Daytona Beach Campus Guests

Medical Assisting program students at Keiser University’s Daytona campus recently organized a variety of displays and demonstrations as part of their first annual Medical Assisting Career Day.

Local high school students, community members, and alumni were thankful to attend the event and receive blood pressure checks and a ‘live blood draw,’ while viewing x-ray, pharmacology and office procedure displays as well as lab, venipuncture and blood typing demonstrations. Guests enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about the program through hands-on activities, while also networking with Keiser University faculty staff and students.
