Tallahassee Culinary Arts Instructors are Recognized by Peers

Keiser University Tallahassee campus Culinary Arts Instructors were recently recognized and honored by their peers for their outstanding achievements in the Tallahassee American Culinary Federation Chapter.

Chef Valerie Martin was recognized as “Chef Educator of the Year 2018” for her achievements and contributions to culinary education which include her obtaining her MBA in Hospitality Management, participating in community events and volunteer work, coordinating with guest speakers to enrich students learning experience, and for aiding in the creation ACF events were professionals could earn continuing education credits.

Chef Nikki Pettineo was recognized as “Chef of the Year 2018” for her achievements which include; community cooking demonstrations, online food education and demonstrations, presenting information on healthy eating and eating healthy on a budget, working with local farms and business to connect the community and educate food enthusiast, creating unique custom dishes, and for her display of skill in culinary arts.
