Flagship Campus’ Healthy Bake Sale Offers Sweet Treats for a Cause

Nutrition and Weight Management Class students at Keiser University’s Flagship campus recently held a Healthy Bake Sale.

As part of their class project, students from three classes organized, created displays and sold their items throughout the campus.  The lessons provided a valuable reminder that healthy nutrition can be tasty, and that learning experiences come in all different packages. The group also enjoyed being part of an event that benefited local kids. Their check presentation to Seminole Trails Elementary school was a proud moment for the students who worked so diligently on their projects, as funds raised totaled over $730.
