Keiser University’s Orlando campus recently teamed with community leaders to support the area’s homeless community.

Led by Student Services Director Dennis Ferraro, the Feed & Fortify toy and donation drive generated hundreds of items. “We are pleased to partner again with Feed & Fortify as they do great work in our local community. This has been a challenging year and as it comes to a close, our hearts go out to those who may be less fortunate or who are facing challenges. We are grateful and humbled by the generosity of our students, staff, and colleagues and wish them the best in 2021,” said Dr. David Hubbard, Campus President.

With a focus on community service, Keiser University’s Orlando campus has supported charities including Toys for Tots, Operation Homefront, Second-Hand Santa, Angel Tree, Second Harvest Food Bank, and more.

Founded in 2011, Feed & Fortify is a Central Florida based organization dedicated to alleviating the suffering of children and families who are homeless or in transitional situations, by way of uplifting their bodies, minds, and spirits as an integrated process of self-help through the principles of love, faith, service, and purpose.
