Criminal Justice Students Enjoy Tour of Police Department

Keiser University West Palm Beach campus Introduction to Law Enforcement class members recently visited the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department.

The Criminal Justice program students were provided a tour beginning with the holding cell where arresting officers assign offenders until paper work is completed. Officers then provided tutorials relating to their safety and physical training tools and systems including their body cameras and shooting range, as well as details relating to various law enforcement vehicles designed to ensure safety and efficiency.

The tour concluded at the Crime Scene Investigation room where Senior Crime Scene Investigator Paige Cohen demonstrated computerized fingerprint analysis.
