Healthcare Student and Fellow Band Members Dedicate Their Latest Release to First Responders

Dean Dennis, a Doctor of Chiropractic student at Keiser University’s West Palm Beach campus is paying tribute along with his five a capella band members by releasing their version of You Raise Me Up by Rolf Lovland.  To listen, please click here.

“As America takes steps to resume normal life, 7th Element would like to pause and show appreciation to all those on the frontlines who are helping us get through this crisis. We dedicate this song to the millions of everyday people who serve the needs of humanity during these extraordinary times. Their service has not gone unnoticed,” said Dennis. “We are indebted to them for their courage and sacrifice. A grateful nation owes more than words could ever express, so we simply say thank you – you raise us up,” he added.

Having existed for over 20-years, 7th Element includes four brothers and two of their close friends (Marc Dwyer, Darren Greene, Garth Greene, Curt Greene, Kevin Greene, and Dean Dennis), they reside in Florida with the exception of Curt who lives in Tennessee.

Dennis also noted that as the group was recording the tribute, he could not help but notice that his university is responsible for training many of the professionals who have shouldered the burden of COVID-19 for society. “Our community should be proud to be home to a true asset like Keiser University. I can attest that Keiser University students have been expertly trained and well-prepared to meet this moment,” he said.

The Doctor of Chiropractic program at Keiser University is a rigorous professional program consisting of ten semesters of study which are completed over 40 months.  It combines traditional lectures with small group learning, weekly conferences and seminars, laboratory and experiential sessions, and clinical training opportunities at several sites.  All coursework includes case-based relevancy for chiropractic practice as a portal-of-entry profession dedicated to excellence in spine care.

Keiser University is a private, not-for-profit university, serving nearly 20,000 students and employing 2,900 faculty and staff members. Co-founded in 1977 by Chancellor Arthur Keiser, Ph.D., and Evelyn Keiser, the university currently offers more than 100 degrees at 21 Florida campuses, as well as online and at two international sites. Keiser University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges as a level VI institution to award certificates and degrees at the associate, baccalaureate, masters, specialist, and doctoral levels.
