Jacksonville PTA Students Visit Local Rehabilitative Center
Students from Cohort 21 of the Keiser University Jacksonville campus’ Physical Therapy Assistant program recently enjoyed the opportunity to observe and interact with community members at the Brooks Rehabilitation Aphasia Center which treats individuals recovering from a variety of conditions that have affected their ability to speak and integrate back into recreational activities. The group enjoyed learning about the recovery process of some of the members, as the valuable information will enhance their ability to treat patients.
