Keiser University College of Golf Students and Faculty Members Enjoy Informal Competition

Keiser University College of Golf Professor Frank Longabucco continued to spice up the Spring 2020 curriculum with a Thursday afternoon “One Best Ball of Two Net” golf competition among students and PGA staff members.

Held at Martin Downs Golf Course, the friendly competitions are popular, enjoyable, and serve as great lessons to navigate the pressures of competition.

The winners of the event were John Cryer and PGA Professional David Wixson with a score of 4-under par 32. Prizes were awarded, and donations were collected to support Cystic Fibrosis. Professor Frank Longabucco explained “The tournaments give students an opportunity to play competitively, preparing them for their PGA Playing Ability Test. Also, the events are fun!”

Students are looking forward to the next event titled, “Beat the Pros – Foursome Stroke Play.”
