Keiser University Tallahassee Students Awarded Scholarships from Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare Foundation

Three Keiser University Tallahassee nursing students are among the latest recipients of academic scholarships from the Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Foundation (TMHF). The total amount of each scholarship is $5,000 split over two academic semesters.

The Keiser University students, Mackenzie Hardy, Leeann Relken, and Zjarea Grant, are earning their Associate of Science Degrees in nursing from Keiser University’s Tallahassee campus and earned the scholarships in three distinct areas. Hardy earned the Mark Vogter Neurology Nursing Scholarship, Relken was named the recipient of the Cardiac Nursing Scholarship, and Grant was awarded the hospital’s Heart and Vascular Nursing Scholarship.

TMHF’s scholarship winners receive numerous benefits. The students earn guaranteed flex employment as a Nurse Extern while in school, placement in the TMH Summer Registered Nurse Internship Program, guaranteed placement in the TMH Nurse Residency Program upon graduation, and mentoring and NCLEX tutoring opportunities from members of the TMH nursing staff.
