Portfolio Management Contest Provides Valuable Insights for Keiser University Students

Randy Obiukwu, a Keiser University Flagship campus senior, was recently recognized as the winner of the university’s Entrepreneurship Society Portfolio Management Contest.

Held in conjunction with Keiser University’s annual business idea pitch contest, the challenge required contestants to efficiently manage a fictitious $100,000 stock portfolio while yielding respectable returns.

“The Keiser University Entrepreneurship Society Portfolio Management Contest is very beneficial to our students, as they enjoy competing against each other while learning the pros and cons of buying and selling stocks. Due to the excitement about gaming companies and similar enterprises, there were many changes in the market to monitor, so we congratulate Randy for his portfolio management acumen,” said George Stamas, Keiser University’s Flagship campus professor of Entrepreneurship, Finance and Management who directs the programs.

The Keiser University Entrepreneurship Society business idea pitch contest and portfolio management challenges are open to its students throughout the state of Florida. To learn more, please contact professor Stamas at [email protected].
