SOTA Club at Tampa Shares the Love on Valentine’s Day
KU Tampa’s Student Occupational Therapy Assistant (SOTA) Club did something doubly sweet for Valentine’s day. The club held a bake sale on February 12 to raise money for Walking To Defeat ALS, while at the same time wrote as well Valentine’s Day Cards for the clients at The Bristol at Tampa Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
The students delivered the Valentine’s Day cards during the facility’s Valentine’s Day party and everyone loved them! The students also donated all the leftover treats from the bake sale to the rehab staff which include are many Keiser University alumni and fieldwork educators. It was a great way to spread a little love!
