KU Port St. Lucie Campus Congratulates Student of the Month

PSL Presidents Award Winner Vanessa Miller with President Leslie Kristof - 11-19

Keiser University’s Port St. Lucie campus recently recognized Vanessa Miller as the recipient of its President’s Award for the month of November.

Nominated by Professor Allyson Swan along with other Nursing program faculty members, she was chosen due to her perseverance, determination, demonstration of leadership abilities, and caring and compassionate attitude.

Having served as a primary caregiver for an ailing family member while also continuing her studies, Miller regularly leads and promotes community service activities including local blood drives and the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. She has been instrumental in raising thousands of dollars in support of breast cancer research and survivor services.
