Keiser University’s Equestrian Team Partners with Thoroughbred Rehoming Facility

Keiser University Equestrian Team members were recently honored to spend their Saturday volunteering time and efforts to assist the staff at Florida Thoroughbred Retirement and Adoptive Care (TRAC).

With over 150 off-the-track thoroughbreds in residence, there was no shortage of horses for the students to groom, handle, hand-walk, and provide care.  The opportunity provided students the realization that there is a strong demand for qualified equestrian professionals to serve a plethora of career avenues.  The Keiser University Equestrian team is grateful for its ongoing partnership with Florida TRAC which includes internships, advisory board appointments, and working field trips.
