Keiser Equestrian Team Members Enjoy Intercollegiate Horse Show Competitions
Keiser Equestrian team members recently kicked off their Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) season by joining 15 other colleges in their region to compete at different facilities including the University of Central Florida, the University of Florida, the University of South Florida, and the Savannah College of Art and Design.
The team is led by Julie Snyder, Director of the Equestrian Program. It consists of a core group of quality riders who understand the importance of their academic studies to complement their riding skills as they train twice a week at the Wall Street Farm stable with lessons consisting of flatwork, jumps, and more.
While preparing students for admission to graduate programs in Veterinarian Medicine, the Keiser University Biomedical Science degree with an Equine Studies Concentration offers students the opportunity to develop hands-on experience in handling horses and horse training. Also offered is the Keiser University Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an Equine Studies Concentration in which students can gain insights into horse management, training opportunities, and more.
