PSL Students Debate as Part of Ethical and Legal Issues in Healthcare Class

As part of their Ethical and Legal Issues in Healthcare class, Keiser University Port St. Lucie campus Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students recently debated the pros and cons of public access to Narcan as well as the use of medical marijuana. With both sides presenting compelling points, there was meaningful debate as each team passionately presented their case.

Keiser University BSN graduates are prepared to provide compassionate, patient-centered, culturally competent nursing care to individuals, families, groups, communities, and populations in a variety of settings, using evidence-based knowledge and skills related to wellness, health promotion, illness, disease management, and end-of-life care to improve healthcare outcomes. Graduates practice in partnership with patients as members and leaders of interprofessional healthcare teams, utilizing the most current healthcare technologies.
